During his residency at This House, David Phillips immersed himself in the rhythms of Stroud, its steep hills, shifting weather, and half-remembered corners. The Stroud Collection gathers seventy postcard-sized paintings that hover between observation and dreamlike landscapes.

Each work captures the quiet transformations of place: a lane dissolving into mist, memories from the green of a hillside and familiar fields.
