Cottage Rules.

While you stay we ask you to observe a few simple rules to make sure your trip goes smoothly.

Parties

No parties please! The cottage is not suitable for groups wanting to make a lot of noise due to close proximity to neighbours.

Smoking

No smoking in the cottage please. If you wish to smoke please do so in the back garden or patio and use the ashtray provided.

Dogs

Well behaved dogs are welcome. Maximum 2 per booking. Please bring your own dog’s bedding and towels for muddy feet. We love dogs but they are not allowed on the beds or sofa.

Children

Children are very welcome. The surrounding area and garden is steep and access can be tricky, so be mindful of this when arriving. Please supervise children in the garden. A travel cot can be provided on request.

Noise

We have some lovely neighbours (look out for Miso the Collie who lives next door). We ask that you respect them and dont play loud music or make too much noise when sitting out on the front bench. When enjoying the back garden be mindful of making too much noise, particularly after 10pm.

The Terrace gate

Please make sure you don’t slam the gate. Cotswold stone walls are very old so a few loose bricks have been known to fall out when the gate slams. Please also make sure it's closed when you leave/enter as the cows roam free on the Common and might come in and eat the flowers.  It can be a shock to wake up with a cow outside your front door!
