This House presents a group exhibition exploring the quiet companionship of trees that grow together in a copse or thicket. Standing apart from the untamed woodland, these small gatherings offer a compelling visual metaphor for community.
Autumn Trees: Watercolour Workshop
An evening of painting led by Katie from This House, anticipating the changing colours of the trees as we move into autumn and inspired by the ‘Copse & Thicket’ exhibition.
In this workshop, Katie will be using a series of approachable techniques and offering gentle guidance. Suitable for any level of experience with watercolour painting. Drinks and a snack provided.
Louise Boulter : Exhibition
In her first ever solo show illustrator Louise Boulter directs a villainous Stag Beetle, a chorus of flowers and a bearded dame to dance across the paper in this new series of works inspired by the pantomime of family life. Featuring ceramics from Lorraine Robbins
‘AMULET’
'Amulet' is our November/December show exploring the tradition of the good luck token through contemporary art and craft.
With artist-made charms, talismans, and keepsakes, the exhibition looks at the stories we attach to objects and the meanings they gather over time.

We are hosting writer Alice Butler to celebrate her new book ‘Close Writing’ which reflects on the diaries, letters, publications, performances, lives, and afterlives of her most beloved queer feminist writers: Kathy Acker and Cookie Mueller.
