Drawing inspiration from a group of objects found in our cotswold cottage in Amberley, marquetry artist Chelsea Vivash presents a brand new collection reflecting on the quiet presence of everyday forms. Through abstraction, repetition, and a palette of gentle wood tones, the works transform the familiar into carefully constructed studies of shape and material.
Chelsea came to This House for a residency back in 2022. Her dedication to craftsmanship and unique way of working combines in this collection to create a breathtakingly beautiful collection of work which sits at the threshold of art and craft.
