Isabelle Carr : from flint to fuji.

We caught up with artist Isabelle Carr while she was on residency in Japan after her solo show ‘FLINT’ in the gallery earlier this year.

How have you been finding Japan?

Can you tell us a bit about the work you made for the show earlier this year and how you feel its influence since moving on to this new chapter?

You have done a few different residencies in the past years; can you tell us how these influence your practice and how they can be a formative time as an artist not just as a way to experience a new place but as a longer?
