'Figure On Red Fabric’ by Rosie McGuinness

Rosie McGuinness (b. London 1984) is an artist and textile print designer who lives in South East London.
With a focus on figures and organic patterns, domestic and social details, textiles and clothing, McGuinness draws in inks paints and printing. Often producing many versions of a composition then pairing works or combining as a series to create a scene.

Rosie was on residency at This House in April 2026, where she developed ideas for her solo exhibition, Common Hours. Rooted in observation during her time in the Stroud Valleys, the collection evokes the sense of looking up through a canopy of leaves from a picnic blanket on a summer afternoon and invites viewers to pause and notice the details that shape the ‘common hours’ we spend relaxing with our friends and loved ones.

All of our artworks are fragile, so we take great care when packaging them. Every piece is securely wrapped and sent using a signed delivery service.
