Rosie McGuinness (b. London 1984) is an artist and textile print designer who lives in South East London.
With a focus on figures and organic patterns, domestic and social details, textiles and clothing, McGuinness draws in inks paints and printing. Often producing many versions of a composition then pairing works or combining as a series to create a scene.

Rooted in observation during her time in the Stroud Valleys, the collection evokes the sense of looking up through a canopy of leaves from a picnic blanket on a summer afternoon and invites viewers to pause and notice the details that shape the ‘common hours’ we spend relaxing with our friends and loved ones.
