Simon is a landscape painter based in the Cotswolds. As an observational artist, he makes drawings and paintings of rural and urban places, responding directly to the character of the place, weather and changing seasons.
Drawing is the foundation from which his work develops. With a background in graphic design, Simon brings a strong sense of composition and visual structure to his work. Mark-making, colour and texture become direct responses to the surroundings of each scene.
Having grown up in Gloucestershire and spending many years in Wales, his practice continues to be shaped by time spent outdoors, frequently drawing and painting on location in and around the Stroud Valleys.

All of our artworks are fragile, so we take great care when packaging them. Every piece is securely wrapped and sent using a signed delivery service.
