'Nearly There Trees' by Cat Knight

Catherine Knight (b.1982, Cornwall, UK) is a painter based at BV Studios, Bristol. Since graduating from an MA in Fine Art at Bath Spa University in 2008, she has exhibited widely in both private and public gallery spaces. Her work is distinctive for its vibrant use of colour depicting evocative landscapes and interiors based on research trips to Iceland, Finland and Norway as well as locations closer to home such as Scotland and Wales.
Recent group shows include the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, BEEP painting prize, the Lido Open and a two person show at Weald Contemporary. She was an invited artist at the Discerning Eye exhibition in 2014 and has exhibited four times at the Royal Watercolour Society Open, winning the Insight Art Prize in 2022.
