‘Woodchester Glimmers’ by Francis Martin

Francis Martin is a contemporary landscape painter working with oil paint and charcoal. He draws subject matter from the woodlands, rivers, hills and skies that surround his studio in Gloucestershire, taking influence from the tradition of landscape painting in Britain combined with a simplified approach to light and form found in western, mid-century painting. Francis prefers to work from observation when possible and regularly paints on location in varying weathers. He exhibits regularly, with recent exhibitions including ‘Grounded’ with Laura Lopes and ‘A Day in May’ with John Martin Gallery at Spirit Studios in Suffolk.

All of our artworks are fragile, so we take great care when packaging them. Every piece is securely wrapped and sent using a signed delivery service.
